Here she is! Arriving 6 weeks early and at 5lb 3oz at 14.24 yesterday! We’ve called her Hettie Aimee Baker, she’s doing ever so well in the neo natal unit, Lorna is home this evening so we are missing her like crazy and so shall be heading straight up to the hospital to see her in the morning after Lorna has had some sleep!! Don’t know when Hettie will be home yet but as long as she is well then all is good! Peace out, Dan x x x. X. X x x

I have gotten into the habit of recording the higher harmony in the allman brothers band’s jessica on my phone and then playing along and getting all excitable! It sounds so ace with my les Paul and little smokey amp, i could do it all day! I can get a very precise ‘war pigs’ sound with it when I play my sg too! Most excellent. Tada!

Good day today! Beautiful sunshine, rocked out in the garden with my little amp which I shall post a pic of soon which was ace, then off to ante natal class which was really interesting and very informative! Thought it would be boring but I really enjoyed it! Now for a bit more rockin’ with dokken as I have managed to get a couple of live dokken DVDs for £2.10 each! Sweeet

musicisthe victim: I find that tiny guitars like ernie ball look totally dick on me being over a foot taller that you! I like big guitars though as a general rule, my three main electric guitars are very heavy les Paul, sg and telecaster, then I have a steel body resonator, jim deacon acoustic, martin acoustic, yamaha superstrat, epiphone les Paul black beauty, bc rich wartribe (I look like a right tool with that one), Johnson baritone ukelele, crafted mandolin and some other bits and bobs. All big apart from the mando and uke! My only rule, even my sg looks big! skelegog: musicisthevictim: This is the same model and colour that I saw on my lunch break today, I’ve wanted one for a fair while now, they fit me well with me being so tall so they feel just right! Need to sell my Marshall stack and my bc rich signed by kerry king from slayer ( I won it ) then I can probably get it! Sweeeeeet!!!!! skelegog: Kinda already got the amp, (mine looks identical but is only 4 years old) just need the guitar, my local guitar shop has one in so I’m going to go in to give it a blast, awesome! Also thin lizzy’s rosalie has just come on planet rock! Times are good! Simple shit for a simple man…. Good lad. A Gretsch shall be my new conquest, I’ve been wanting one for…well since ever, actually. They are beautiful. It’s gorgeous! Happy if you get it. The only problem I have with these (and even Les Pauls) is me being 5’5”, I do tend to swim in them somewhat.
